Facilitated Leadership Experiences

Where Ideas Break Free

Mutiny Labs combine strategic facilitation with restorative environments so teams can break familiar patterns, navigate complex questions, and turn meaningful conversation into tangible action.

A Different Context

Better Work Begins With a Different Context

Traditional meeting rooms often reinforce the same assumptions, dynamics, and habits that made a problem difficult in the first place.

Mutiny Retreats move strategic work into a carefully selected environment where teams can slow down, think differently, and engage one another with greater honesty and attention.

Each Lab is designed around the team’s goals and can include cultural experiences, culinary exploration, executive coaching, sustainability workshops, design-thinking practices, and structured decision-making.

Lab FAQ

Can a Lab combine strategy with restoration?2026-07-15T20:46:15+00:00
Yes! That’s the entire point. Every Lab balances structured working sessions with cultural immersion, shared meals, and genuine downtime.
Can a retreat or lab be customized?2026-07-15T21:05:09+00:00

Private retreats and Labs are fully custom—destination, duration, venues, activities, and facilitation are built around your goals.

Can our whole leadership team attend?2026-07-15T20:44:18+00:00

Yes. Labs are sized to your team — typically 6 to 12 for the most productive facilitated work.

How far in advance should we plan a Lab?2026-07-15T20:47:48+00:00
For Structured Alignment and Decision Architecture, we recommend 6–10 weeks to allow for discovery interviews and preparation. Guided Exploration can move faster.
How physically demanding are the experiences?2026-07-15T21:12:59+00:00

Most are light to moderate with some walking on uneven ground—gravel is a common ground cover. Specific activity levels are listed on each experience page.

Is transportation included?2026-07-15T21:07:22+00:00

In-region ground transport is included in nearly every experience. You never drive across the border yourself. Flights to San Diego or Tijuana are not included.

What do we walk away with?2026-07-15T20:45:18+00:00

It depends on the level, but outputs range from a themes-and-opportunities summary to a prioritized roadmap, decision frameworks, and an accountability plan.

What is the cancellation policy?2026-07-15T21:18:28+00:00

Public retreats are typically fully refundable up to 7 days before departure, thereafter it is not refundable. Private terms are set in your agreement. See our Terms & Conditions.

Where do I fly into if I’m coming from out of town?2026-07-15T21:23:27+00:00

The San Diego International Airport (SAN) is 30 minutes from the border; and the Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) is a 10 minute drive to the San Ysidro border crossing.  We recommend flying into either airport. Please coordinate with our staff.
