Hand Sanitizer: While we will have some hand sanitizer available, it is a good idea to bring some with. Water: We will have complimentary water during our transits to and from the border. Most of the venues we will visit will have bottled water available. Note, if you are concerned about water quality in Mexico, please ask for ‘no ice’.

Get your Mexican Pesos before you leave. For each day of your visit, you’ll need roughly: $150-300 US for food and wine, and an additional $20 US for gratuities. Gratuities in MX are 10-20% of your bill. Please plan to tip your driver and waitstaff. Exchange Rate: As of April 2026, the Peso (MXN) was 1=.057 US dollars, or $17 MXN for every $1 US. Rates change daily.

All attendees must have a valid passport to cross into Mexico. If you have a non-US passport, please check with your or Mexico’s consulate in San Diego for required visas. Passports must be valid for at least 6 months. You may be required to fill out a visa if crossing by foot, please retain it for exit. Yes, you can use your Sentri Card or your Passport Card. Plan to bring both. Sentri/Border crossing: The San Ysidro border is notorious for 3+ hour waits, thus we’ll cross by foot a 5-90 minute wait. We'll separate at the border to get into the appropriate line to cross.

1 Liter or 1000 Milliliters: You are allowed to bring 1 Liter of wine or spirits across the border ever 30 days. Border patrol will confiscate any excess. Conversion: 1 Liter = 33.8oz = 1000 Milliliters
