Photographer’s Retreat

~ Tijuana to Ensenada ~

Coastal Baja Norte, Mexico

Street merchants and buskers, crumbling buildings along rugged streets, and fishing boats amid expansive vistas.

Harness your power of observation as we explore authentic working class Mexico in Baja Norte. Join us for a curated expedition designed for visual storytellers craving a creative reset.

We’ll explore working Mexico: a gritty fishing village falling into the sea, modern docks (where we’ll grab a beer and lunch, and wind permitting, catch local kite surfers in action), and downtown Ensenada for urban street photography.
Afterward, we’ll gather at Le Concheriea to connect over the day’s captures and grab dinner. Planned stops include Popotla Fisherman’s Village, Mirador Salsipuedes, El Sauzal, and Ensenada. We’ll return in early evening.

Structure

A one day, small group photography excursion. Capture interesting locations across Baja Norte while enjoying great food and conversation with your peers.

Immerse yourself in the surroundings and the people. Small-group sessions and built-in community time create the conditions for real connections and the kind of idea exchange that only in-person can do.

Not ready to register yet? We’ll keep you posted as speakers and details are confirmed.

We miss exploring with you.

This is our excuse to fix that and a chance to bring visual thinkers together to collaborate.
